VERYFOL-5 Tablets deliver a high-potency, biologically active form of folate as L-Methylfolate Calcium (5 mg). Unlike conventional synthetic folic acid, which requires a multi-step enzymatic conversion in the liver and gut, L-Methylfolate Calcium directly enters systemic circulation without relying on the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) enzyme. This high-dose therapeutic formulation is specifically engineered to overcome metabolic resistance, treat severe folate deficiencies, reduce toxic systemic homocysteine levels (hyperhomocysteinemia), and protect maternal-fetal microvasculature.
