FLAVOBEST DUO Tablets (Best Biotech) combine the smooth muscle relaxant Flavoxate Hydrochloride (200 mg) with the urinary antibacterial Nitrofurantoin (100 mg Sustained Release) for the comprehensive management of complicated and uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs). By simultaneously targeting bacterial pathogens and urinary tract irritation, FLAVOBEST DUO delivers rapid symptomatic relief alongside effective bacterial eradication. The sustained-release formulation maintains therapeutic urinary concentrations while reducing smooth muscle hypertonicity, relieving dysuria, urinary urgency, voiding frequency, and suprapubic pain. It is particularly effective for recurrent UTIs in women, including those managing metabolic or urogenital sensitivities associated with PMOS (formerly, PCOS).
  • Urinary Antispasmodic Action (Flavoxate): Directs local smooth muscle relaxation across the urinary tract by inhibiting phosphodiesterase enzymes and exerting local anesthetic activity. It increases functional bladder capacity, reduces detrusor muscle hyperreflexia, and relieves painful spasms.

Standard Dosage: One tablet twice daily, or as strictly prescribed by a Urologist, Gynaecologist, or General Physician.
