FORAHALE-0.5 Respules provide a high-potency combination therapy in a liquid form tailored for nebulization. This format is specifically designed for the management of severe Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) where standard inhalers (MDIs/DPIs) may not provide sufficient relief or cannot be used effectively by the patient. By converting the medication into a fine mist, it ensures deep lung penetration even during shallow breathing.

- Budesonide (0.5 mg): A strong anti-inflammatory corticosteroid. When nebulized, it coats the bronchial airways to significantly reduce swelling and mucus production, preventing long-term lung damage.

- Maximum Daily Dose: Do not exceed 2 respules per day (40 mcg of Formoterol) unless strictly supervised in a clinical setting.
- Maintenance Therapy: This is a long-term controller medication. It must be used every day to keep airways open, even if you do not have symptoms.
How to Use?
- Prepare: Open the foil pouch and detach one respule strip.
- Open: Hold the respule upright and twist off the top tab.
- Fill: Squeeze the entire content of the respule into the medication cup of the nebulizer machine.
- Nebulize: Connect the mask/mouthpiece, turn on the machine, and breathe normally and calmly through the mask until the mist stops (usually 10–15 minutes).
- Cleanse: Essential: Rinse mouth with water (and wash face if a mask was used) after treatment to prevent fungal infections or skin irritation.
Safety Information & Precautions
- Not for Rescue Use: Do not use Forahale Respules to treat a sudden, severe asthma attack. Always keep a fast-acting “rescue” inhaler (like Salbutamol) nearby for emergencies.
- Single Use Only: Each respule is sterile and preservative-free. Once opened, it must be used immediately. Discard any leftover solution.
- Storage: Store the respules inside the protective foil pouch to protect them from light. Store below 30°C. Do not freeze. Keep away from the reach of children.
- Prescription Only: This is a Schedule H drug. It is a powerful medication and must be used strictly under the supervision of a Pulmonologist or Physician.
- Heart Precautions: Because it contains Formoterol (a stimulant), inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, an irregular heartbeat, or thyroid issues.
